I live in Burlington. I bought my car at Burlington Mazda last year and have my car serviced there. They are okay, but they don't compare to the service my wife gets at Burlington Toyota on her Corolla; they are by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with and I have owned 5 new cars of all makes in the last 12 years and dealt with several dealerships. As far as Burlington Mazda, I am lucky that one of my closest friends is a mechanic there, so it puts my mind at ease when I get service on it. I only have him work on the car. As far as sales, well, they are OK. I previously had a leased Ford Explorer and the lease was up in September last year, so since at the time the lead time on delivery of a new P5 was 10 - 12 weeks, I ordered a yellow P5 in June 2001. When I went to check on the status of the car at the beginning of September, they told me the car hadn't been ordered yet, due to demand on yellow cars (at the time this was the case at all Mazda dealerships in the area), but they didn't tell me this. They told me that I might have to wait at least another 3 months. My lease was up in 2 weeks and I didn't have a car. They were more than glad to rent me a car @ $400/month until my car came in. Needless to say I was pissed at not being informed of the delay and they didn't seem to care. I managed to track down a silver P5 with A/C and 5 speed at Guelph Mazda, so I put a deposit down and went back to Burlington Mazda to cancel my order and they were all of a sudden anxious to help out. I told them I was willing to buy a silver car from them with A/C, 5 speed if they threw in a sunroof for free, got me a VIN number of said car with no order against it and had the car to me in a week, or no deal. I told them the deal was not negotiable. They relented and I got my car from the Vancouver depot in 5 days (P5's in Canada come from Japan via Vancouver), and am actually glad I got the silver car instead; I think yellow would have worn a bit thin after a couple of years and I plan on keeping it for a long time. I have bought enough new cars from dealerships and I don't let them push me around when it comes to buying a new car. Always walk away if you are not happy with the deal; there are always plenty of other dealerships willing to have your business if you don't get what you want.

 

Hello from Hamilton, I am also from Hamilton and have been wondering if there were any other members in the area. Well I actually live in Stoney Creek but please whats the difference there. As of right now I haven't gotten around to any mods but I have spoken to one of the guys at Pro-Motion on Queenston and he said that as soon as SEMA is comes along in Vegas next month, All the newly released parts will be available and he will have all the catalouges we could handle.

 

i'm gonna be taking pictures of my car really soon...as soon as i can get some decent %^$&^*^ batteries for my %$&^& digital camera (damn thing eats batteries) ...and then i'll post the pics!
