8" of snow, and counting....

Man, it is snowing down here in Fairfax
how about you guys
this is the most snow I have seen in a while
(I wasn't here for the 1996 storm)
I have work in the patriot center today, I want to drive in the snow but I don't, do you know what I mean
Anyway, how are your proteges holding up
I have no idea how the hell I am supposed to get it moving
I mean, the snow is above the bumper, I guess I'll have to shovel my way out

Wish me luck

they said up to 30+ inches in some of the DC metro area. Perfect for some off-roading.

Yikes!

okay, today was a nightmare in shoveling the snow and man, I had one hell of a workout

anyway, I had an incident with one of the neighbours that I really didn't know and didn't want to know him, because He always keeps parking in my spot and I tell him to move and **** like that.

My family has two cars. A minivan and my protege. I first began cleaning my minivan because alot of my neighbours where cleaning their cars and I decided to join the group and help and get the snow from the minivan out of the way. One of the neighbours instead of shoveling the snow around of his car and putting on the pile on the corner, began shoveling it on the street. I didn't care and neither any of the neighbours. We had a good time and so forth.

Then, I started cleaning the snow from around my car(protege) so I could move the car tommorrow to work, and I my strategy is to make a gap in the side, so I could just slide out instead of digging the whole length infront of the car. ( I parallel park and the first one in the row, look at the pics and it will be much easier to sea). So, I was making a pile on the curb and the side I was working on was getting tired. So I decided to add on the pile that was on the side of my car to begin with, and with my tirdness and lack of aiming, about 3-4 shovels of snow ended up on the road.(Now, as all the people living in the metro area know that the subdivisions is not plowed very nicely and you can not see the asphalt under the snow. So, it isn't like I am making a mess of the road). Then, this idividual (who I don't like and get along with, whose house is infront of my parking spot) yells at me from the window about who careless of me to shovel snow on the road!!!!

I mean, what the hell is this guys problem. Sitting his **** all day in the house, and I am clearing my car of snow and he yells at me. I outaa tow his **** every time he parked his car in my parking spot.(if you couldn't tell by now, we live in townhouses, with two reserved parking spots for each house). Some words were thrown around and I told him, why don't you come down and show me how shoveling should be done. He told me not to be a smart ***, and I stood and looked at him till he closed the window. I continued to shovel the car out, and just to **** him off, throw some snow on the road.(I think that is what made him go nuts.)

I finished my car, and went to help my neighbours help clean after the neighbour who shoveled all the snow on the road(it was like .75 of a foot about 7 feet in length). So, I began working, and I spot the guy (i have a problem with) coming and I don't budge. I begins giving me attitude, and I just gave him hell(without cursing ofcourse). I sure got my neighbours attention that one of them had to take the individual away. I was ready to get it on, but I got the sense from him that he would do something to my car.(mind you, he always wanted my spot, because it is so convinent to him, right infront of my house, and my house is like a block away, so I don't have a clear view of the car. and when ever he parks, he takes half of my parking spot, because he drives a crown vic and he decides to stop and park his car over the line which seperate our spots. I don't mind, and let him do that. I will post a pic at cardomain of what he does. )

so, what should I do, he might key my car, or do a flat or something. should I put a camera in the car, or should I put an alarm that will go off if somebody comes near it. Did I do something wrong? I mean, i picked on me because I shoveled a little on the road, while all the other adults that shoveled basically all their snow on the road where just......lets say, left.

I mean, what the hell is poeple problems these days. If he would have said it a little more kindly or repsectfully, I would have told him sorry, and I will pay attention next time. But he basically yelled at me. Damn him!!!

any replies would be appreciated

Thanks

pro00 - Sorry to hear about your situation, some people are just ********. Tell him to **** off, and if he lays a finger on your car, I'd definately lay a serious beatdown on him.

I had a quasi-similar situation yesterday with one of my neighbors. My roomate got out there pretty early to dig out his car. He had a job interview yesterday, so he didn't have much of a choice but to go. Anyway, he threw the snow arround his car onto the unshoveld sidewalk that I said I'd take care of after he left. All is cool.

About an hour later I go outside to shovel the sidewalk as well as my protege, and one of my neighbor's from upstairs (who just moved in about a week ago) was down shoveling part of the walk. I never met the guy, so I said what's up, and started shoveling. This guy says to me "Hey, tell your roomate he's in trouble", and I asked why. He said that he saw him shovel out his car, and dump the snow on the sidewalk, the landlord could get fined blah blah blah blah blah. I was like no ****, why do you think I'm out here shoveling now? Plus it was still snowing, so who knows how much more we were going to get. Anyways, he said that his brother (who also lives upstairs) had already called Joan (the landlord) to bitch. I told the guy, what are you in ******* elementary school, telling on us for not shoveling our sidewalk at like 8 in the morning? I told him I was taking care of it now, so he can stop with the sand in his panties.

Anyway, shortly after he tried to make nice, but I wasn't too interested. These are the ******* guys that instead of parking in the street, they pull around to what little backyard we have, and park there. Yesterday he probably spun up half the yard trying to get his ******* huge *** suburban unstuck. People are such dipshits, I'd like to punch him and his skanky fat brother in the ******* face.
