Good Places to buy mod's?

Where is the best place in town to buy mods for my MP5. I'm looking for the kind of places where they will sit with you and educate the potential buyer on what your buying. Just want to make an informed desicion as I'm not really sure on where to start. Any suggestions? Any comments on where to start and/or your experiences are appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

That's right, your the guy thats works at Kramer.

I was thinking of starting at the intake then doing the exhaust. What is the best for the MP5? It seems the Injen CAI is what is the most popular. How about exhaust, any suggestions?

you have to be a little more careful if you choose to get the InJen since the filter is at the ground and you probably have to recharge it more often than others because it tends to get more dirty quicker.

Funky Budda has the AEM, i personaly would of rather gotten that one if it was out at the time, its like half SRI and half CAI

kramer sometimes puts the ractive filter on, it works.. thats all i have to say (recommended that you change the filter to a K&N Cone)

I got an SRI from Auto Zeal...It came with a monsterflow filter, scrapped that for a K&N heh, the K&N should set you back around 250-300 depending on the shop...Glen will give you a figure...

My AEM came to around 280. No tax or install. Got mine at Unlimited Performance. Had to wait 2 months for it. As for it gettin dirty, the AEM gets just as dirty just as fast. As Em says, it's not as long as the injen, and not as short as the ractive.

Edit: As for exhaust, I got the sport exhaust from mazda. Northhill to be exact. That was 380 tax and install included. It's LOUD. Are you gonna get cat-back or just a muffler?

I think pr5owner is the only one in here running a catback on a p5. Other than the mp3 owners, of course. Me and Maxx are running the Mazdaspeed axle-backs that you can buy from the dealer. Hong Kong Fever is running just a universal muffler.

For a cheap custom setup, get a universal fit muffler, goto a muffler shop and have them make pipes for you. It'll probably run you around 4-500 dollars. The Racing Beat cat-back runs around 800, the Greddy Evo cat-back runs 1200. Those are the only ones that I know of that are worth getting.

those kits are way to much, it would be better spending money elsewhere

You can dish out some green for the DGM carbon fiber dash kit. They're around 150USD I think.
