Sounds like Skyhawk174 is coming down from Edmonton that weekend. I've asked him to join us.

Nobody took the bait on the idea of going for a drive. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I was wondering if we were just going to do a show and shine or take a spin. Or both? If the weather is nice it'll be a beautiful drive.

Have to remember to bring the digital that day.

 

I agree with those who want to sleep in - I also agree with the Drive to Elbow Falls (smokies and smores???) Well Jayrox and I are up for that any way.

How about noon! Would that be late enough for Orange?

 

As for YOU... **wagging finger** as others have said some of us work Too bad you couldn't come this time though Dion... maybe next time though and maybe we can do a Western Canada meet or something and include those Edmonton guys too.

Not trying to be rude, but since you can't please everyone, people have to start forming around the club, not the club and all it's members forming around a few individuals. (Schedule wise that is. Hope it made sense. )

For those who can't make it, we'll have to catch you at the next one.

As far as a drive goes, I'm open to that! I think a B-B-Q or something would be cool!

BUT, if that's the case, we need to assign who's bringing what, etc. And please, PLEASE come if you say you're going to. At least last time Glen had the courtesy to post on here even though it was the last minute. (And I can't wait to see your new car man!)

 

And Orange, remember if the weather is ncie, things typically go about 1-2 hours, so if we are there at 11, and you show up at 12, its all good

A drive to elbow falls might be good. Definatly need to get arranged before hand though.

I'll be there for the meet..but the drive..I'm gonna pull out of..I have graveyard shifts that weekend so need to get some sleep.

11:00 is cool. Glad someone put their foot down. To be fair to Orange, I think we should hang around McMahon for at least an hour.

As to the drive and cookout, it should be "bring your own" so that nobody is left in the cold if a certain person doesn't show. This is not preventing anyone from bringing extra. That whole spirit of giving and all.

For us, we'll have wood (an axe and firestarters), smokies & buns, condiments (ketchup, mustard & BBQ sauce) and s'more stuff (marshmallows, graham crackers & chocolate chips). We'll definitely have enough to share.
