I've been looking on ebay and there are lots of third party strut bars for sale that supposedly fit proteges. You can search on there for yourself, they are like 14 dollars each, and that seems like a damn good deal considering that mazda sells strut bars for 130. And it doesn't seem to me like there could be a huge difference in quality when it's just a metal bar with some hardware on the end.

I do have a cruise control protege though, and i've heard of some ppl having trouble putting a strut bar on with cruise control, so what kind of problems should i expect if i were buying one of these ebay strut bars? Any experience with the quality and compatibility of these things?
