Screws holding trim under fender good for mud flap attachment?

Are the screws that hold the platic molding under the fender a good place to put mudflaps??? Or do I have to drill some new holes? I am assuming that its just as simple as removing the exsiting screws under the fenser that hold the plastic molding on and sizing up my muflaps and drilling holes in the mudflaps and attching the molding and mudflaps with same screws in the same orientation. I hate the look of mudflaps, but love the look of my paint on the sides of the doors and would hate to see chipping!!! Any suggestions!!!!!

Sorry guys, please move this to the wheel forum!! I BOO BOOD!

Get the ones from Mazda for your car. They have holes that line right up with the factory holes. Plus, they look like they go with the car.
