Racing Beat springs

Just wondering if anyone has the Racing Beat springs on their 3rd gen protege (I got a '00) and if you could post any pics. Also what do you think of them?

Same goes for if anyone has the mazdaspeed sport springs.

Thanks,
Shayne

RB springs

are you refering to the MP3 springs?

We have put MP3 springs onto the P5 and it helps out the cornering pretty good on the stock springs. but there is very little lowering involved. Hardly noticeable...

I think Shayne is referring to the springs actually sold by Racing Beat. I have them installed, and they provide a little lowering, but nothing dramatic. There are pics of our recent meet on this Protege board. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mazdaprotege/ You'll have to sign up if you haven't already. The pics are under Photos, CAPPII meet. There's one of my '00 ES with the Racing Beat springs installed.

.

I have the racing beat springs on for a good while now. I find that they lower about 1.0 when settled and it improves the corning performance of the p5 by a mile. From what I heard these are not the same as the mp3 springs cause they are stiffer than the oem mp3 ones and the eibach and H&R's. I can out corner most of my friends with modified suspension on their cars with my stockers on and RB springs on!
The ride stays pretty confortable as well.

I have a buddy selling his for a good price, chk out this site...

Hey Eric, thanks a million...knew you'd come through. The pic of your car is kind of far, but looks like more than enough of a drop for me, seems to get rid of the enormous wheel gap I have. And everyone who has the racing beats loves them.

02p5 good to hear you like the springs. Also I checked the site and I didn't see anyone selling their RB's. I guess I'm retarded, but if you could just point me in the right direction

Thanks,
Shayne

No problem Shayne, good luck with the springs. Those must be Canadian prices on that link.
