possible to swap mazdapeed rotors with ES

I was reading the specs on the mazdapeed and noticed that it had bigger rotors/brakes. Would it be possible to swap out the rotors and calipers?? Possible bracket change or something.

Thanks.

I'm not sure how much bigger the rotors are on the MSP. You may want to go to a dealership and measure the rotor to caliper clearance. If the MSP's rotor's are significantly larger, then you may need to replace the caliper as well.

To acheive the the performace of larger rotors and the calipers are different, you'd probably want to change them as well to accomodate the larger pads.

My knowledge of the MSP is limited so I'm just throwing ideas at ya.

It would probably be better to go with a big rotor kit like www.rr-racing.com As far as tests of the MSP, I don't think it is a huge improvement over a stock ES. MSP's stop in 120ft+ or-, while an ES does it in around 125ft...This also could simply be the stiffer suspension and better tires, not just the E-spec brakes. There are probably some added cooling benefits, but the effects would probably be minimal...
