MP3 Suspension in my new Zoom Zoom magazine...

I just got my whole new owners kit from Mazda and it has a Zoom Zoom magazine that lists the MP3 suspension as an upgrade you can purchase. I'm thinking this is the way I might like to go depending on $$$. Also that way I don't lower the car that much. Or I could get most of the MP3 suspension minus the strut tower bar and the springs and end up with the Racing Beat P5 springs.

Anyone know off hand what the MP3 susp. setup is going for from the dealer? Is that the only place to get it? I keep reading that the setup is tuned so well for the car that I think it might be exactly what I'm looking for and can help out in auto-x.

Opinions greatly appreciated...

Go to http://www.mazdastuff.com or http://www.mazdaformance.com and add all the suspension components up. You need (4) 17" wheels (or you can buy them elsewhere), the springs (I think the Eibach branded versions are the same thing), the struts, a stabilizer bar kit, and the strut tower brace. I don't think I missed anything. The components are fairly expensive so you might find some other wheels to save you some dough. Check on the Eibach thing. Your dealer can change his price if it is high but they probably won't.

I just got prices from my dealer last week. They just gave me the full list price off each sub assembly. The struts were $575 for the set. The sway bars are sold as a pair and you have to either reinforce the mounting point on your stock struts or by the MP3 set that are already reinforced. The springs I wouldn't buy from Mazda as they don't have enough drop. Only 1/2". You don't need 17" wheels to run any of the suspension parts though. It will work just fine with the 16's. The strut tower bar was around $139. My dealer said if I bought the struts, the sway bars and the strut tower bar at the same time they'd knock 20% off list for the whole deal. Still going to be over $1000 with the mazdaspeed exhaust that I want. I'm just going to wait another couple months and do it all at once.
