Sorry I just got back from the beach!
Hey everyone. Well kinggirliegirl... just found out some bad bad bad news!! while i was at the beach.. my boyfriends stayed here cause he had to work. Well he took my ground controls to this other shop to get them put on my car.. well guess what they discovered.... ******* CUT MY STOCK SRPINGS AND MY FRONT 2 STRUTS ARE ABOUT TO BLOW. So this week is gonna be hell. I have to call mazda to see how much a stock set of springs and struts are and he is gonna pay the $600 it cost me to put the ground controls on... he's gonna owe me mad money... and if he dont pay me... then THEPRO1... he is gonna get his *** beat... I wanted go there with the box of springs and just throw them at his head... I was so upset. and now the ground controls are ****** up... so i have to take them back to other shop... i just have no luck.....

ok so anyway man i wanna smash this guy AND ITS NOT EVEN MY CAR!!!!!! i'd def make that fool pay for EVERYTHING and then i'd take the car to a different shop and have them do everything
you should take it to where ever your boyfriend takes his cars were he knows everyone.............wait that was you wasn't it? or was it that other girl? oh well yeah i'd snap off on that guy big time has your boyfriend gone in and said anything to that loser?

Sup Sup!! hey Dante... yeah that was the other girl whose boyfriends knows people...YEah this ******* has one more day..if not I am going to court to file a civil suite..I tried before but i couldnt find him because he closed his business... another looooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg story. Yeah i called mazda today to price the stock springs and struts...yeah $931!!! So we will see what happens...Though i dont think he cut my stock springs.. i mean why would stock springs be RED??? But eveyone says that the eibach pro kit are black springs... I dunno!! I have to wait for mike to get home so we can talk about my options... oh and i dont need mike to say anything to *******!! Thats what my daddys for!!! he is a big guy with tattoos and rides harleys and knows some people.. if ya know what i mean!! heheheh.. thats sure to scare anyone... I will keep ya posted though!!

naw but heck yeah i'd sue the crap outta that *** and then i'd "throw a box of springs at his head" so have you heard anything new about the bodykit? or is that still up in the air too?
also have you paid for the kit yet? cuz if not i'd just order one and have it shipped directly to my front door and then i'd put it on myself .....of course if you didn't want to do that(put the kit on yourself) i'd just take it sumwhere and have it done but all the same i'd have that mug shipped right to my door so that i knew it came!!!!!

yes i paid for everything. ii was supposed to get alot for what i paid for. but all i got were wheels and tires ( that i didnt even pick those ones out!!)another long story. I just cant wait until this is all over with. its my loss i guess.

Thanks PLUTO. Well that noise in the front went away today and thats weird cuz it was pretty damn loud and embarrasing at that. but I am still gonna take it back to the shop and see what could have happened in there. oh yeah and today i called jim's work ( the place where my bodykit is supposed to be) and the ******** put jim on the phone.. and he got on the phone like i was his best friend and that nothing happened.. I was soooo shocked that allen even put jim on the phone cuz he knows i hate him. and i was shocked that jim even got on the phone... i was sooo shocked and didnt have anything to say.

Ok... well here is the story now... when jim got on the phone he told me that this guy chris is going to pick it up tomorrow night and everything should be there thursday morning. Thats his story. But to me thats just bullshit cuz mike and i went there about 3 weeks ago telling him that we will go pick up the kit cuz i was sick of waiting. and last week when i talked to this guy allen..he made me think that everything was already there at the shop.. that the only thing that was stopping them from putting the kit on my car is that they had no one there that could do it. Then jim told me today that SLICERS ( the name of the shop where jim works... but its not an import place..its an RV and truck place) is gonna put it on instead of him trying to put on as a side job. So we will see what this week brings.,.. if nothing then i'm suing him.. i already have the paper work filed out.. just need to turn it in...

the ground control coilovers i have on the car now are supposed to work with my STOCK struts... they come in two different applications.. one for stock struts and they other for after market struts.... well the place that put on my GC told mike that my front struts are blown... so i need new ones.... so if these ground controls are made for stock struts and the car can be lowered 3 inchs... is it ok to buy stuck struts?? if not... could i fit after market struts in there? hope someone can answer that question ASAP!!!

This is the forst I hear of 2 different sets of springs....
Logically, the aftermarket shocks should be able to fit the stock springs for someone who only wants to get new shocks.... That means that any spring that fits a stock shock should logically fit any aftermarket shock made for that same car.... Logically of course.
Hope that helps, but I also hope someone else knows for sure.

Well let me correct myself... i found out today. The GC for the protege only comes in ONE application... so it will work with stock struts or aftermarket struts...however most other cars come in the TWO application. This is true because mike called GC today to find out and his car has TWO applications. I was told that there are no AFTERMARKET strut made for my car yet... but ... oh hell i'm not gonna even try to attempt to spell it...its starts with a T and sounds very japanese...( kinda like toyko) they are making one for my car but its not out yet...maybe in a month or so... so i will buy those ones.
As for the ungodly noise the car was making up front after the GC were put on.. has been fixed today.. i took it back to the shop and all they had to do was raise the front about a 1/4 inch.. which i wasnt too happy about.. cause i can tell the difference... and when i got in the driver seat i felt like i was 5 feet higher in the air!! i was sooo mad!! but just by looking at the car there is no real difference.. but since its my car.. i know what it should look like and how it should drive....it still looks sweet as **** though!! I love it!! oh and the guys let me go back in the bay where they were working on my car.. so i got to learn some stuff...they showed me in my right front wheel well were the old spring rubbed off the on the firewall... its is a mess !! i cant wait to get my hands on jim...I'm going there tommorrow. I dont even want the bodykit anymore.. I just want and intake, exhaust and that new AWR racing header!! heehhheeee . Hey biz.. do you know much about this header??? I mean is there anything i would have to replace or get..once the header is in.. It already comes with alot of stuff. and is it legal? if i had to go through inspection would it pass? As for the metal noise in the back... its the top piece that sits on top of the spring..i forget what its called..well anyway that piece is banging around in there.. so i am gonna take jeremy's advice ( UPSMAN) and either rap the springs in a silcon tubing or some rubber tubing..well i guess i talked to much!! hahah... but i learned some things today.. im proud of myself... and know BIZ is proud of me too!! hahah

Well, I am definately happy for you that you're learning! That's what modifying cars is all about... and when you get to the point where you're doing it all yourself, that's where the real fun is!!
I think the shocks you're talking about are Tokicos...
The part number for the Mazdaspeed struts is 0000-8M-C14 (not the MSP Protege, actual Mazdaspeed struts...).
There are also the MP3 struts.
