Hydoplane=Bad
i hydroplaned on my way home tonight... i just slid into this curb and it rashed my steelie and torn up my hubcap(which rolled off). obviously something is messed up now. the steering shakes. it feels like the front right rim is bent or rolling crooked, but upon further inspection, that's not the case. nothing looks externally broken and i don't hear any noises when i jacked it up and turned the steering wheel.
could i have just messed up my alignment that bad? or do you tihnk its something else?
i'm sick and this is not a very good day

yes you could have messed up the alignment that bad....or bent something that is not readily obvious to the naked eye.....
or....as mentioned above...knocked the weight off of the wheel and now its terribly out of balance.....
get it checked out soon.

I hit a curb last year when there was a lot of ice and I was on the stock Poortenzas. The alignment was out of whack and the rim was bent a bit and had to be replaced (btw, I got ripped on the price at Sunridge Mazda in Calgary... 
). I took it in and they fixed it with no troubles. I asked them to check the suspension just to make sure there was nothing wrong and it turned out to be OK.
I'd say make sure they check the rim as well as the alignment.

Usually, shaking is a balance or out-of-round rim problem. A nice bend in the lip of a steelie can also cause a ridge in the tire tread that you can't readily see with your eyes, but can certainly feel on the road.
Let a shop do the typical checks: alignment, balance, and an out-of-round test (generally an included part of a wheel balance procedure). Whatever your problem is, the standard tests oughtta find it.

yea so far we have: alignment, bent rim, shifted subframe(just a few mm), control arm, and i'm pretty sure my cv joint when out on me yesterday on the way to the body shop. it might just be the suspension moving around from the lack of rigidity.
the frame is being tested today. i swear if my unibody is bent from hitting a curb at 5-10mph, mazda will never hear the end of it!
