How to remove Stock P5 wheels

OK
I'm trying to take of the wheels to paint the calipersl. All the lug nut are loose but the wheel refuses to let go. I assume that there's something under the center cap holding the wheels on. This may be a stupid question but how do you remove the little Mazda symbol in the center of the P5 wheels? I don't want to start prying at it until I'm sure that's the way to do it.

Thanks guys.

So I tried the old rubber mallet trick and that did the job!
