Ground Control Coil Overs

Ground Control Coil Overs
Okay, ready to start performance mods on my P5. Been looking into lowering springs and such. Everything tells me that Eibach makes great stuff so I'm leaning towards their products (as opposed to the OEM parts or more expensive custom stuff).
I recently found Ground Control Coil Overs on www.protege5online.com that use Eibach springs.
Are these things worth the $379 price? Will I need to change shocks or any other parts of my suspension? How hard are they to put on and calibrate (make even)? Will my warranty be void?
How far should I drop with factory wheels and tires? What about 17" wheels?
Would appreciate tips from those in-the-know.

I just recently put on Eibach Springs and I love them. I will eventually go with the ground control kit, but not right now. There really is no need to change the shocks & struts if you put lowering springs, but if you have the money to do so I would change them. I didnt, and the ride is still excellent. But a year from now I will probably need to. It is actually very easy to put on lowering springs/coilovers. Me and a friend of mine dropped my car and I thought it was simple, he said it was one of the easiest cars he ever lowered (besides my wifes cavalier). I guess $379 is worth it, I really havent found a place on the net thats cheaper. But a local performance shop down here can sell them to me for less than $250! i didnt find this out till after I put my Eibachs on. I actually bought my Eibach springs from him for $190 out the door, I thought that was a damn good deal. I even bought my Ractive exhaust from them for $100. If you go with the coilovers, its up to you how far you want to lower it (there adjustable), with either 16", 17", or 18" wheels. Just as long as you get the right offset on the aftermarket wheels. And "NO" lowering your car will not void warranty, as long as you do it right.
