Front Illuminas

Well I'm getting ready to replace my front Illuminas as well, and I just wanted to check up on one thing before I dive into it. The upper strut mounts have a dot painted on them, and I know that the orientation of this dot is very important when reinstalling the struts.

But since I originally had someone else install my lowering springs, I'm not sure if he oriented the dots properly so I don't wanna reinstall them the same way if they're not facing the right direction.

I've also read that the orientation changes if you have a lowered suspension vs. stock ride height. Mine's 1.5" all around, so would that be enough to make the dots face another direction?

Any help/advice/PICS would be fantastic!! Thanks guys.

the drivers side looks off - both sides should be mirror images of each other... well, unless you have something bent some where

No .. nothing's bent. It's just the way it was reinstalled by the guy who put on my springs.

So the passenger side is alright then? I just need to move the driver side a quarter of the way counter-clockwise?
