Eibach Pro Kit Lowering

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone have the Eibach Pro Kit to lower their P5? Since the stealers want $700 CDN for it. This is the only spring that won't void the warranty. Does it worth it?

I found a place that would install Eibach springs for only $450CDN including springs. Should i do it? by the way, I live in Vancouver area.

Thank you for your valuable input.

There are many members here on this board, including myself, that have the Eibach pro kit. Just do a quick search to find their posts. Welcome to the board, BTW.

I have Eibachs and it was approx $350 w/ install. Please visit www.mpsport.net, a local Vancouver Mazda Protege club to find out places to purchase and install.

Speed, welcome to the club.

I don't know who told you that the Eibach Pro Kit was the ONLY springs that wouldn't void your warrantee but they were wrong....NO spring kit alone will void your warrantee.....the only time your warrantee will be voided by any aftermarket part you install is if that aftermarket parts failure causes something else to fail....then its not covered........so chose which ever springs you want.

well, the words are from Signature Mazda in Richmond. They told me that if I get my lowering springs from Eibach, and I asked what if the shocks goes in 2 years, they said they will replace the shocks as long as the springs are Eibach. So, I assume that $450 Eibach would worth it since it's including shocks in 2 years time. If i'm lucky enough, i can bust the shocks twice within 4 years and get another set for free !! At least thatz what i heard from the Parts manager.

well if YOUR dealer is going to do that fine...but If I were you I would get that in writing.....service managers change and then you would be screwed

AND.....you are going to pay $450 for a set of springs? THAT is a rip off.....springs shouldn't run you about $200

You should get that in writing before you lay down any cash.
