i wouldn't put coilovers on a mp3... racing beat did A LOT to give that car the best supsension possible, and i wouldnt mess it up with different springs or coilovers.... just my 2 cents

Some people don't like the high stance the car and may wish to improve on what the general masses get. I would recommend, for the above purposes, to only go with higher quality components than what is currently found on the car. That means, Tein, Fightex, Progress, Ohlins, H&R, coilovers. Or if you don't have that kind of money, then maybe some Eibach springs or Progress springs and some really good shocks, like Bilstein, Koni or Tokico. Sway bars are also a big improvement in the cornering abilities of the car. If you just want looks... let some air out of your tires j/k

They also did a lot of work to keep it "comfortable". Yes, it works well, but it can always be better.

If youre looking for handling, first thing I would do is a st of camber plates.
How do camber plates improve handling? Do they stiffen the top of the strut towers? I always thought that camber plates were more for alignment purposes. Given, this would improve handling, but probably not necessary on a stock height MP3. Just curious.

Yeah, I'd do it in this order...better wheels/tires, bigger sway bars, stiffer shocks, higher rate/lower springs (or substitute the last two for a set of complete coilovers), camber plates, lower chassis brace, strut tower braces, and finally....a roll cage. This is all assuming that you increase performance too, but with just bolt ons, I would stop at the lower chassis brace. Also, only use the best quality parts, you'll never regret spending the extra money.
