I am looking for guidance regarding Workshop Repair Service Manuals for different vehicles and machinery. Can anyone explain how reliable these manuals are for professional and DIY repairs? I want to know whether official manufacturer manuals are significantly better than third-party versions.

Also, how detailed are wiring diagrams, torque specifications, and troubleshooting steps in these manuals? If you have experience using them in workshops, please share how they helped you diagnose complex issues. Are digital PDF versions as effective as printed copies?
