Wiring Help

I've looked through the forums and haven't been able to find anything on the wiring for the side view mirrors. I purchased M3 mirrors and have attempted to install them. I tried all the combinations possible for matching the wires. The closest i can get is that everything does the exact opposite of what i want (left=right, up=down..etc). Is there a special sequence you have to do? kinda like defusing a bomb? i'm really at a loss here.. someone please help me... lol

Have you gotten into the switch? the panel is really easy to pop off, just slide a flat screwdriver carefully under the rear side of it, and pop it up, it's spring-clipped inplace, nad will replace very easily. Fromt here you shoudl be able to get directly at the wires and take notes on their colors.

Well i was going into the existing wires that are up near the mirror. There are six wires that run out of the switch. 3 to the drivers side and 3 to the passenger side. I shouldn't have to go back to the switch. Right? or are there descriptions inside the switch?

I was just sort of figuring it may be easier to get colors and figure it out off of there. I've honestly got no clue how those things work, is there a way you can reverse the polarity of the motors in the mirrors? that sounds like your problem. might try protege5.com I think there's some guys in there running mirrors.
