why i don't know how to drive...
i'm still faster.
i've GOT to go make a few more runs...make some corrections in my shifting and launches...i should be somewhere in the 15's.
twilight in austrailia ran a 15.4 in his n/a p5 over the weekend. bastard. he's put up the quickest time out of all the n/a p5's

... the elevation at his track is going to be different, so that might account for his better times (somewhat), he's also most likely a hellova driver... just launch right at the brinking point of breaking the tires loose, without actually spinning'em, and if they do chirp just let off the gas a little bit and then get back on it as soon as you have full traction... and how i started practicing shifting faster, was just sitting in the driveway without the car running, and basically just pretending to race, then when i applied it to actual racing, i kinda took it easy at first, and gradually went faster and faster, on a 14-XX car shift speeds play a HUGE role, it could be the difference of a 15.5, or a 17.0, if the car is capable of it...as far as the evo, i wouldn't dump it at redline, but being AWD it is just asking for hi revving launchs, the majority of EVO drivers i've talked to say they launch at 5-6 grand, and they are quite used to the smell of burning clutch in the morning
