Where does the P5 take *IN* air?

Where does the P5 take *IN* air?

Reason I ask is that I have a musty heater and the cure is to put it on heat with a full fan and spray Lysol into the air intakes. I'm all set to do it, but don't want to just spray randomly in front of the car.

Does anyone know *specifically* where the P5 takes in it's air?

Thanks!

i believe the filter element (which is where the air is drawn thru at) is unberneath the plastic shrouding under the wiper blades. Rather, the plastic shrouding in front of them that has vents on it. I think this is where its at, hence, the need for vents-dunno for sure though. good luck and let us know where you find it!

Does anyone know if the 2001-present Protege have microparticle filters to filter out pollution and pollen?

in the diagram number (1) is the blower motor, hence the intake is likely right above the inlet for it, I would guess under the passenger side wiper.

Thanks all! That is what I suspected but I didn't want to inadvertently jam a stream of Lysol into my engine!

I'll try it tonight and let you know how it goes. I want to kill that mildew soon so it doesn't just sit and get worse over the summer.

Which explains the diesel stench every time I get stuck behind a bus in traffic...Any way to put one in, does anyone know?
