Where can I find a downpipe for 02 P5

Hey everyone, does anyone know where I can find a downpipe for a 02 protege 5?. I've looked almost everywhere and can find one. I dont know if the one for the mazdaspeed will fit my car, cause you have to remove the turbo to install it. Any help would be awesome, thanks. Later.

you want a MSP's turbocharger downpipe for your NA p5? Why? What are you trying to do?

No actually, I was just curious if the downpipe for Mazdaspeed would fit my car. I recently just bought a OBX header and was looking for a downpipe for more horsepower. Do I need a downpipe?? or would it be a waste of money. My ultimate goal is to get the new WOMP Supercharger kit from Matty. Thanks. And jackelope i have no clue what your talking about lol. All i asked you was where you got the apex downpipe from lol. But then I realized you had a Mazdaspeed. You wanna talk about somebody not paying attention lol. But thanks for the responses. later.

the obx header is a manifold, pre-cat delete, and downpipe all in one. It bolts directly to the mid-pipe. Mazdaspeed or not makes no difference.

Turbo cars upgrade downpipes to help turbo repsonse time. You don't have a turbo so you don't need to worry about it. The obx header is more than enough exhaust for you. If you want a LOUD free-flowing exhaust you need to buy the Corksport Powerseries exhaust. It'll bolt directly to your OBX header and be a full catless exhaust. A few things to know first though is that

#1. It'll be SO loud. Even with the silencer.

#2. the muffler tip sticks out 2.5" past the bumper....looks awefull (IMO)

It is probably the best free-flowing exhaust made for the proteges though since it replaces the midpipe also with a catless pipe.

Hey matty, thanks so much for the information. I'm learning slowly but definitly surely. The obx is enough exhaust for me huh?? lmao. Ill take your word for it. I already have an exhaust on the car, its a magnaflow. So the Corksport Powerseries exhaust wont be necessary. So a magnaflow and a obx header......... yeah i think your right. That is enough exhaust for me lol. Now go get that supercharger kit up and running, I WANT IT!!!!! BAD!!!!! And jackelope your some crazy some bitch you know that lol. Later peeps.

really just the header would be plenty for most people. It'll increase the overal sound of the exhaust but removing the main restrictions up by the head. I've got the mazdaspeed muffler and an obx header and it's pretty loud. When I had the corksport exhaust on it was un driveable. I took it off after 2 days.

The SC kits are going to be coming soon...I'mdoing everything I can (short of selling a kidney) to get them done faster. Once everything is re-mocked back up it shouldn't take much time at all to get things rolling smoothly.

i'd like a nice midpipe with a resonator in place instead of a cat.

Ractive (toucan industries) make a full exhaust system for the P5, from header back. (it incorporates the cats, for us up in ontario no cats, you get pulled right off the road during a blitz.
