Wheellocks

I am planning on painting my calipers but realized my pro ES came with wheellocks. Am I going to have any trouble taking off the tires. Do the wheellocks prevent them from coming off? thanks

Did your dealer not give you a wheel lock key? This is a piece that you would put on the end of a socket wrench.

Your car came with a lug wrench that is in a little pouch thing. If you look in there you should find the key for the wheel locks.

If its not there you should call the dealer.

thats strange that it never came with a key or the socket, as every one has said go to the dealer and get up them!!!! what if you were way out west and you had a break down.... did you bye the car new or second hand.. if you brought it second hand the prevous owener might have put the mags on and lost the key.. but dont worry there will be a key for the lock, if the dealer hasn't got it go to a tyre shop or any car acessory places, it should cost a max of $5... good luck mate

Also, when you get your key, keep it in the car or at least carry it with you! I've had to pick up a friend twice because he got a flat and didnt have the key with him.

If you can't find the wheel lock key in your glove box, look around the spare tire area. I remember seeing the instructions that came with the wheel lock kit, and it instructs the dealer to insert it to the end of the lug wrench and leave it there.

I got the locks from the dealer on my car....the KEY was ziptyed to the lug wrench, which I found in the spare tire well. My wifes P5, the lug wrench pouch was in the little cubby hole where the jack is. IF for some reason you don't find the key ziptyed to the lugwrench...I would drive directly to my dealer and say WTF CHUCK?

if u cant find a wheel lock.. just take a cheap *** socket that is the same size or a hair small , and pound it on with a hammer then take it off like normal..........yes this works....which is why wheel locks dont work and people still steel your wheels.

just for your info
