Please post a picture of the leather package. I've never seen that before. Sounds good to me.
I'm from Canada so I'm not familiar with what a good American price is. 18K sounds like a bit but you got every option plus leather

Talking No, that's not too bad

I paid $17,389 for mine, everything you've got but the leather interior and the automatic... those two options alone would put me over the 18K.

I'm starting to think that I didn't do very well. I didn't negotiate at all... I just went in there with my company's fleet discount and took what they gave me.

Let me know what your sticker price was?

The sticker price was 20,400. But for some strange reason I too feel like I could've got the car for a bit less.

I'll post pictures as soon as I can

Later

A local dealer here (Wolfe Mazda) has a leather package in one of their yellow P5's in their showroom. Black leather with perforated yellow inserts. It looks hot! Too bad it's an auto though other wise I'd look at buying it.

SUX 2BU, go to Richmond Automall, they got some schweeet P5s there.... when we had our meet there, they sold a yellow P5 that had 17" Konigs, intake and was dropped with H&Rs..... they got some niceee p5s as I said....

Da Bronx, you did pretty well on your car from what I heard of other people. It would be a fair price without leather, but you got that too, so not a bad deal

Thanks, Makaveli. Todd Brown of Sig. Mazda actually phoned me on Sat. right before your meet I was going to tell him you were coming down there but I figured I'd leave the suprise to you guys Sounds like a sweet ride they had. Somebody on the www.protege5.com posted that he was the one that bought it! Too funny! Do you know how much they wanted for it? Which Konigs? It'd be nice to have the springs dealer installed so they won't be pissy about warranty work.

don't know about that board, and don't plan on visiting it

But the guy's over at www.mpsport.net our local Protege website/forum. Didn't ask him how much he payed just yet. They also sold another silver Protege5 I think that had some other aftermarket rims and a sub, and a leather package! The leather package was sweet

Kramer Mazda here in Calgary sold Leather in a few specked P5's. Mine are dark RoyalBlue. A friend who owns a body shop says you can order aftermarket leather kits for most cars that are fairly reasonable.

Yeah, it's not hard to find a leather kit. Katzkin makes really nice kits and they make them for Dakotas of which I know of few that have them. I wonder if they make a P5 kit............. Hmmmmm.......... How much did they charge for leather?

Paid $21,000 canadian for the car. Leased actually, so it wasn't part of the sticker.

How the hell did you get it so cheap? I want a P5 with a/c and air and MSRP is $22,800 including freight and air tax. Invoice is about 1500 less than that.

My friend is a car exporter. Lots of contacts with dealers. Told him what I wanted and he made a few calls. Mine came with everything listed including the Monsterflow, exhaust, etc.

He actually just bought a 86" Ruf 930 Turbo (450bhp 35,000 miles) from Japan for himself and due to a Runco Projector I sold him I get it for a weekend! (My dream car)
