Talking new things for the MP5...

man, where to start?

We are definatley missing a new steering wheel hub. So far all i've seen are the factory rx-7 type steering wheel, and as far as reupholstery goes, i'd rather dish out the 300 bucks for a new hub and steerer.

paintable headlighthouseings and a fully functional aero dynamic kit would'nt upset me either.

imo the pro5's steering wheels are fine. they are small diameter (i think 350mm) and turn ratio's are very good. i use aftermarket
MOMO's on my other cars where it came with large diameter
steering wheels which i didn't particulary enjoy driving on.

what i would want on the pro5 is a vtec or vvti system on the
motor. mazda needs to work on the motors.

6 speed

Definitely, the 6 speed (with a taller final drive ratio). I'm tired of cruising at 3700rpm.

Individual Throttle Bodies

I might have to go back and make a NA beast if those are ever made.

Glass headlight lenses would be nice too, I've got 6,000 miles and they're already chipped up pretty good. Koni's would be nice, though I might want reds instead of yellows.

Id like a few more engine upgrades for the 1.6; underdrive pulleys, throttle bodies. flywheels. All would be nice!!

The things I'd like:

-A lsd

-A ss catback that doesn't resonate through the cabin at 80mph that doen't rob the bank

-Engine mounts the don't cause too much vibration

-D-pillar 6x9 speaker enclosures

-black out head and tail light covers

-rear cupholders that fit the back of the factory center armrest and rear map/reading lights

I would want the following accesories:

- Naked woman on the front passenger seat (Just kidding).

- Built in refrigerator in the back (My dad used to have a Lexus that came with a built in refrigerator right where the third break light would have been, behind the headrests of the rear seat).

- Window switches around the shifter and not on the doors (like BMWs... my switches get wet every time I get out or into the car when it rains).

- HID.

- Like Blue Pro 5 said: Rear cupholders.

- Like Sisbliss said: Power door lock buttons on the door handle.

Other than that... I'm happy with the car.

OK- I thought of something that would be cool- I think it would work.
Strut Tower brace with integrated Camber Plates.

If you are looking to make something yourself- this could be a doable project with access to decent machine shop. Let me know if you are going to do this- I could be in the market for such a product.

Supercharger, the performance of the car seems to be tuned great from the factory...its just way underpowered.

a HID/Projector kit would be nice also.
