What are ALL the new mid-year changes on the P5?

I did a search, but I couldnt find a list of all the changes. I read on Edmunds forum that someone saw a P5 with new wheels and side markers. I know that leather is now an option, and the sport auto is another. Does anyone have a press release or a complete list of changes?

Is the leather option only available in the USA? I just bought my P5 yesterday, and the only options were the moonroof, air and automatic

Yes, the sidemarker thing is true. I don't know anything about the wheels yet though.
Will it be possible to get the side markers on previous P5s? Dealer installed?

Here is a pic from mazdausa.com of the new wheels.

Our P5s dont have side makers. Side markers are located between the front wheel and door. Most European cars have these. The MP3 has them. Sure would be nice to have them on ours...

Then what do you call the marker that is in front of the wheel under the corner of the hdlights? The MP3's don't have this here. I figured that they just moved it for style.

I think they call those Parking Lights?? They are different, since the side markers blink when you turn your signal on...

Hmmm I'm not a fan of side marker lights I think in general cars look cleaner without them but that's just me. The wheels look okay but from that picture I think the 'old' wheels look a little smoother.

Side markers don't blink

Just as a note, the side markers on my P5 (bought yesterday) don't blink with the turn signals. That seems like it'd be an obvious thing to have, but maybe since they're new they didn't think of it....

In poking around I've seen one mod to make them blink with the turn signal, at http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/how_to/markerflash/ . This is not P5 specific, it's for any car.

I highly recommend reading the rest of his site as well - he has nice real details on why things like those blue headlight bulbs are a waste of money and may actually make things worse.

When was your P5 made? Is it an updated P5, or pre-update? Are the sidemarkers you are talking about between the front door and front tire (like the MP3), or is it the side reflector on the front bumper? Post a pic if you can...

Hm, didn't check before buying it, it's 11/01 which I'm sure puts it in the pre-update group (I think updates are after 2/02). If I'd read this far before buying it I sure could've used that in negotiating....

Anyway, it's the side reflector on the bumper that I'm talking about, here's a pic.

Canada must not get the new updates.. I just picked my car up on Friday.. it just came off the truck. I am not sure the build date, but the dealership said it was at the Vancouver port last friday.
