Actually, we're painting the calipers silver...but that's not the way the song goes.

Anywho. We thought, red? yellow? black? yellow and black? and finally decided on silver. Cuckoo eh?

Here are the before & after shots:

I like it alot.
I think Ill do the same, dont want anything too tacky so silver is nice. Looks almost like a chrome.

it might've been a little better to at least disassemble the caliper from the hubs and paint them off the car. If it were me I'd wire wheel brush the caliper and bracket down and then use a grey primer coat, a red base coat, then using stencil letters place the letters "BREMBO" on the caliper, cover with silver top coat and then peel off stickers to reveal the red lettering. Then cover everything in a coat or two of clear coat. It'll last longer that way.

Uhhh....No!

I could hardly get this project moving in T-minus 7 days...and counting, much less have said brakes disassembled and painted off the vehicle!

We didn't even pick the most chrome looking silver on the shelf at ACE, but it did come out super-duper shiny. At least they are clean now

Phase I of cheap mods complete. What will Phase II have in store for us? Only time will tell...

Question...what would be better:

1) Carbon Fiber downforcers

or

2) Fiberglass downforcers painted to my liking

Looks good!

When I painted my calipers, I did it the easy way: Spray the paint into a little cup and brush it on. It'll save you the hassle of taping everything off.
