Watch Out?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered a strut tower brace from Mazdastuff.com and they are still shipping the wrong bracket with the kits. Make sure they send you a BN5W-66-3AY cruise control mount instead of a BJ0F-66-3BYB. Also don't expect any instructions to come with those. I'm going to do my install this weekend (pending the damn dealership sending me the missing parts, they also forgot a couple of nuts which I could probably reuse from the old setup). I'll take some pictures since Mazda does not know how to write instructions with their producs and post them on my website.

I have seen them...

I got a copy of the Mazda installation instructions but they really suck (it does not help that they have been through a fax machine twice). If anyone is interested I will try and scan these. But the pictures will not come out. So all you get is blurry text. Also, avoid Richard at Mazdastuff like the plague. I spent an hour today arguing with him on why I can't use the stock actuator bracket with the kit (eventually they decided to send me a P5 bracket).

I guess I'm just a nice guy. Install instructions (warning very blurry):

Hey, newbie here. Just wondering, what did Mazdastuff.com charge you for shipping?

I wanna pick one up, and their price is way better than my dealerships. I'm just afraid they'll overcharge me for shipping.

Thanks

I paid $110 shipped /w Texas state sales tax.

I finished mine and thought about taking pictures but the install was very easy. Took me about an hour, with three trips walking back into the apartment to get tools I forgot. The only tricky part is the lower actuator bracket (PN: BN5W-66-3B2). Just make sure that the little lip holding off of it goes into the car (there is actually a little hole covered by a very loose piece of metal). Just make sure they ship you the right parts. Look at the instructions I posted if you need help. You will need every tool they tell you to take (especially the 10mm wrench).

On a lighter note it is working, and looking, great. I can really tell a difference when I'm driving it (what little I have gotten to drive it). Tomorrow I will find out if it makes the car any easier to drive at freeway speeds.
