Value of an MP3 in the Southeast?

I am thinking about buying a blue MP3 and am trying to get a feel for there value here in the southeast. I also am interested in any problems which the car might have.

Does anyone make a supercharger kit for the MP3? How about high compression pistons, cams, etc to bring the car to around 175 horsepower?

Any information would be helpful?

I'm not so sure about superchargers for it, but they are real turbo friendly. In that case might as well shoot for the Mazda Speed Protege. You will get the horsepower and the same look. Might be a wiser thing to do.
