Turbo gauges

I have a Mazda protege speed and I would like to know about gauges for the stock turbo. If someone knows about where i can get deals. What type of boost gauges should I get

Autometer makes good stuff at pretty reasonable prices. About $55-$70 a gauge. You just looking for a boost gauge?

EDIT: All sorts of gauges here for pretty cheap .. electrical ones too. Oil pressure, exhaust temp, fuel pressure & boost.

If you aren't running a boost controller I'd recommend an oil pressure gauge before a boost gauge..

The other gauge you're thinking of is probably a wideband air/fuel ratio gauge.

Don't bother with it if it isn't a wideband ($250 and up)!

if you don't even know the name of the gauge or what it does then why does it matter if you have it or not?

Gauges are for monitoring system perameters. If you don't know how to accurately read them and make adjustments then you're wasting your money....or buying them for cosmetic purposes only which is called "rice".

^^ this is why I say an oil pressure gauge is key. Everyone has the ability to make adjustments

IMO, boost and water temp are 1st on the list, then oil temp and pressure, EGT (exhaust gas temp) and maybe AFR (air/fuel ratio).

Sorry to alter this forum but it pertains to the thread starter....

Did they make a white MSP? I wasn't aware of it. It's cool either way. Looks good.

I stuck with Autometer Sport Comp gauges because they are as close to stock looking as I can get. I have the Oil pressure and temp on my A pillar right now, with the Boost, Wideband, and Water temp gauges popping out from the center of the dash when I find a nice dashcap.
