Tires

Hey all.

To nobody's surprise the stock potenzas are all but worn out after two years on my mom's 03 protege. It's the one with the steel wheels and 195/55/15 tires...LX I think?

Anyways, it's time for a new set, I was wondering if anybody else has worn theirs out yet and what you would reccomend for replacement. I was thinking Yokohama H4. They're only T speed rated, but the car will only ever see a MAX of 85.

Any input would be appreciated!

This is what I recommend and I hope it helps. Go to www.tirerack.com and enter your cars make and model. Then pick the type of tires that you would want (ex: ultra performance tires or winter tire ect) but keep the same size tire. Then when they give you all the tires that fit your car...you can read a review on thier web site for the tire you want.
Don't go with the most expensive tire becuase it might not be the best tire for your car, it just cost more expensive because of its brand name.

I posted earlier on the same topic and T4s Yokos were my replacement tire.. I give them a 8.7 out of 10. Once you buy them you will feel the difference..

a good tire, but visually they look like a bigger tire even the the specs are the same, it just seems like its a taller profile. Maybe its just me, but the Bridgestone stock tires looked a thinker profile height.

oh well.. either way.. good tire
