Timimg belt change, Engine mount ?

2002 PR5 - Need to do the timing belt. The manual says I have to remove the motor mount. Is that true?

If so, what's the easiest way to suspend the engine without having the SST tool?

thanks.

Floor jack under the oil pan. Make sure you place a 2x4 or chunk of plywood on top of the jack pad so you don't dent the oil pan. You only need to support it, not raise it, so just bring the jack up until the engine just starts to move.

Thanks. That's what I thought but wasn't sure.

Happy to help. Good luck with the timing belt swap.
