In case you don't know, Thule makes the Canadian racks for the P5. They have a new fairing that just came out. This what is looks like:

How do you like it? Does it cut down the noise a lot?

Totally does! I get more noise from the lip that pops up after you open the sunroof. I totally advise it. I get NO noise from the racks themselves: just wind noise but no howl. I am so glad I bought it.

Us protege

Do youknow if this will this work with the US Version roof rack and the Thule 889 Velovise kit? I would love to get a Fairing for it to eliminate the whistling noise when the sunroof is open.

Please advise.

Thanks
Dave

Hey MTB! I believe mine are 'Velowise 892' or something like that. I have 2 on but, I wouldn't be surprise if 3 fit. I have never tried it (yet.) It will be a tight fit with the 3 bikes on. Otherwise, they are awesome to have and a complete breeze to take off and put on. You don't need to worry about scratching the paint either, talk to the guys at Northhill and tell them you apart of the Protege club of Calgary.

The fairing cost $90 Canadian but, you can probably get it cheaper. I bought the bike rack years ago in Tahoe.
