things to look for?

hey folks, newbie here. i've been considering getting a 3rd gen protege for the last few months, and i -finally- found the car i'm looking for. 99 ES, 5 speed, sunroof, 65k miles. the price seems a little bit low to me, $5600. almost makes me think there's probably something wrong with it. the question for the masses: is there anything i should pay particular attention to when i go to take a good look at this car, drive it, etc.? anything that should make me raise my eyebrows besides the normal 5 speed things such as wonky clutch, sticky gearbox, etc.? any useful advice appreciated.

hmm.....maybe paint chipping, super-soft motor mounts...and thats it, I guess.. These are very solid cars and have really no major problems with them.

p.s. They offered it to you for $5600?? Then you should offer $4K. Don't just accept what they ask.

i think i'll try $4500 and see where they stand. i also don't know what they'll give me for my trade-in. i know how much it's worth, but it's a dodge and that means that the resale is crummy and i'm sure i'll get low-balled.
