You might want to watch how you talk to the moderators of this board..... also, it's not about reading redundant posts, its about wasting bandwith. Contrary to what many people think, it's not free to run these forums.....

Whatever, am I gonna get a whoopin' or something? Ya'll need to lighten up. I know it's not free, but the more traffic, the more advertisers which equals more money to run the board. Chill..........

No you wont get a "whoopin"...however the search feature is there for a reason...and if name calling persists you DO run the risk of getting banned...and these "old posts" will answer your question...there has been a post announcing the introduction of practically every style of tail light out there....apparently you arent aware of the effort required for someone to go out and find all the info you want and post pics on here...I gave you a link to the info you requested....And more traffic does not equal more advertising necessarily....an advertiser doesnt want to pay money to advertise on a board that is full of nothing but bs off topic posts..that is why we keep it to a minimum here...and like 03ESPro said...bandwidth costs money and redundant posts cost bandwidth.....If you want to continue being a member of this board, please keep the anti-social behavior to a minimum...consider this your first warning

can someone/anyone show me an ADVERTISEMENT on this forum......

redcivic, what everyone is trying to say nicely is that you're not blending in well. Take an extra 30 seconds to look to see if your question has already been answered. Older members like Mac and I (and several hundred others) just get tired of answering the same questions over and over again. Bandwidth isnt free and we have NO advertising money coming in. Also, this forum is different from the others out there be cause we try to be more civilized and don't put up with all of the B.S. the other forums do. I like to think of this forum as the "adult table". This is where the big boys talk. If you're looking to just start random posts and chat and be juvenile yo'd probably fit in better at the kiddie table.

Here we go. First of all, I realize you probably feel some loyalty to certain memebrs on this board and that is cool but to say big boy talk goes on on this board is a laugh. If it's one thing I've noticed on this board it is the lack of experienced gear heads on this sight. I don't mean to be childish or insult anyone but at the same time, I grow tired of moderators and tired members that bark orders rather than just letting people gather information anyway they like. I have been a member of www.honda-acura.net since 1999 and I have seen the same crap go on over and over. It never ends, you just have to set the tone for your own site. I'm not trying to start a flame war or make enemies but if I don't agree then I don't agree, don't take it personal. If someone posts a question that's already been answered then don't reply. So what if I did a search and did'nt liek the results? Every post on this board has probably been asked before so I don't see your point. As far as the name calling goes, well i have no respect for someone moderating a board focused on performance that has no performance what so ever on the car this board represents. Sorry if I offended anyone. Hell I get less **** asking questions about my Protege on my Honda board. The purpose of this board is to offer, share, and gather information. No offense to the members that I respect as enthusiasts (you know who you are). Like I said before, chill......

Ok then, go ask them about taillight options. I don't think you get it though.....you have to fit in with US....we don't have to accomodate you. If you want to be here then you need to play by OUR rules. As a former honda owner I also have spent time on the honda forums and found them to be an utter waste of space and time. This forum is 10 X's more infomrative and friendly. If it's too much to ask of you to do your own searches then you should start asking the honda kiddies for advice.

First of all, in my defense, I do have performance parts on my car...try Racing Beat Springs, MP5 Strut Tower Bar,CAI,Custom Cat-back Exhaust,J-spec CAMS(as far as I know I am the first 1.6er to have them).....So to come on here asking about tail lights and call me a "ricer" is rediculous...I like my Tail's, but everyone knows they're a ricer mod....Bottom line is change your attitude, quickly...If you think your attitude can remain the same and it will just be tolerated you are mistaken

APC makes some all red ones that look pretty nice. It's really hard for me to say anything good about APC, but they make ONE set of tails for the 3rd gen Protege that I kinda like.

I can't find a pic, but they are 90% red.

Your right, I apologize. Thanks for the info on the tails, I'll check out the APC site. I too don't like APC much but I just don't like teh factory tails so i just want something better looking to go with the body kit, rims, etc. I plan to make an axample of my pro and I just want to get the looks department satisfied before I rip into the engine.
