I saw some 00 proteges with mp3 bumpers and i know its not a direct fit but the mp3 bumpers and the wagon bumpers arent that different are they? im asking this cuz i saw some nice *** parts DG Motorsport (like Carbon fiber lip, rear valance, grill, and even a widebody kit) that onyl fit the wagon so i was thinking about putting them on the wagon bumpers and then putting them on my 00 protege. also do the wagon and sedan have the same wheelbase and length?? thanks for any help u guys can provide

to fit any 01+ front end parts on a 99-00 protege, you need the fenders, hood, bumper support, and headlights...otherwise the bumper wont fit at all

that's not just a standard p5/mps bumper...there is a canadian guy that molded some bumpers in fiberglass to match the 99-00...you can check around on mazdas247.com or whatever it's called, the guy might still be around...

but the bumper on that car is not simply a p5/mp3 bumper bolted on the car....

but yes the P5 and Mp3 bumpers are the same

exactly, thank u all i wanted to know was if they were the same, i know theyre not bolt on, i know all this its not like this is my first mazda. just wanted to make sure they were thesame before i buy something that wont even go on my car
