I dont know what the right name is for that thing but my car came stock with it, and I wanna take it off b/c it is so hard to clean under it and I dont want it to stain my paint... has anyone taken that thing off and if so is it hard and does it look bad after taking it off??

Super easy. Just loosen the screws and viola. I took it off when doing the Maguires (spelling?) 3-step. Even after the wax you could still see where the shield was... so I'm putting it back on. I like the sunroof better with it on anyway.
