Stock Grill Messed Up

Stock Grill Messed Up
So anyways, about 4 months ago I painted my stock grill a silver metallic. It looked sweet then, but as time went on I started to like the stock grill again, it seems now that the paint is starting to peel because in some of the "honeycombs" water collects and rocks that hit the grill chip the paint which is normal, but it's a pain in the *** to keep touching up.
So I was wondering if anyone knew of any other options besides spending 180 for a replacement stock grill.
I've read about the AT grills, and I don't want one of those, I need to buy a new grill, but if I'm going to spend 180 I might as well get an aftermarket one that I like if I can find one.
Unless of course someone wants to sell me theirs LOL.
Any advice would be appreciated as my grill looks worse and worse everyday. Oh yeah, and if you're thinking of painting the stock one...don't I think now it looks kind of cheap.

There are many people who have made custom grills out of Rain Gutter purchased from Home Depot... send PJ_5 a PM and ask him for exact instructions... he'll help you out. I think total cost is around $10 and it looks very nice, you'd be surprised.

See I thought about painting it black, but I can't seem to get the silver off without scratching it, and so If I paint over it, and the black starts to chip, you'll see silver spots underneath, but that's probably my best option besides paying 180.
I've also tried the "Home Depot" grill, I did that before I painted it. It looked o.k., but I hated the fact that it was held on with zip ties, and I didn't want to scratch my bumper, especially after how long it took the dealer to paint it when I first got my car because they scratched it.
