SedanMan, i have a question on what exactly came in the kit that u bought from the dealer. Also you said that ur car had all the other wiring already installed. I have a protege es and am taking out my fog lights. i wanted to know if i have all the parts taken out correctly. Thanks

The wiring is already there from the factory. See, they prewire everything in so that there aren't a ton of different wiring set ups for the car. All that has to be included in the kit is the switch and the lights and bulbs. The wiring is already present, and it places the switch down left of the coinholder left of the steering wheel. I did this weeks ago, and am very satisfied with the result. I have a DX as well, but I had the dealership do it, because 25 bucks for them to do it is nothing but a small amount for peace of mind that it is installed correctly.

On a related note, has anyone switched the stock (P5 in my case) foglights so that they will illuminate when the parking lights are on rather than the low beams? I've been in situations where using both together produced a "white out" from snow, but the fogs alone would have been great.

Thats pretty much it, although there must have been something that connect the switch to the car, its been a while. The instructions were idiot proof... so thats why I dont remember much of it. Let me know if you need more details.

Sorry yeah one more thing, the white harness that goes under the steering wheel, did that connect to the switch or was just some random white harness. I'm currently taking my fog lights out i just want to make sure i get all the peices so i can sell them, i have the fog lights out, the harness under the bumper and the switch. The harness for the switch was green and the rest of the green harness part is hardwired into the car, so i think i'm looking for the white harness now? If u can just give a lil bit more on where the white harness was put that whould help alot, thanks man.
