There are special hooks that you use to remove the deck. I can't remember if you need two or four to get it done. I think you can buy some off of ebay. Kind of a horse shoe shape. Hope this helps.
Pre outs? I don't think so. Go after market.

u can go to any store like canadian tire or the likes of or a car audio store and pick up a "ford stereo deck removal kit" its basically jus a lil kit with 4 "keys" that go into the sides of the stereo to unlock it and slide it out. on each side of the stock stereo there are removable covers that clip in, jus pull them off to reveal the holes for the keys. and no there are no pre outs in the deck.

You can use a clothes' wire and DIY. Just look the ones sold on ebay to have a better idea of how they are made.

It's so simple and it works very well.

See the sticky posts at the top of this forum. They should give you all you need. Nuke talks about homemeade tools in the sticky; you can go and buy the Ford radio removal tools as well, as mentioned (the removal is the same).

Beware - when you actually get the tools and are removing the deck, the deck sits VERY firmly in the siupporting rod behind the deck - even when you get the deck off the clips, it will still be a bit of a struggle to get it off the support. Taking out the glove box so you can get your hand behind the deck is helpful.
