Sportshift in Canada?

I know there was a post about this, but I want to make sure. Is the sportshift (whatever you call it) option going to be offered on Canadian Pro5's? I was at the dealer and they know nothing about it. They said that it is not coming to North America, but I see it on the US site. What's the deal?

I've never seen a sportshift offered from the dealer. You can buy B&M Short(Sport) shifters to upgrade your stick. But you wont get them at your dealer. You'll get it from a performance shop (like me) & install it. I hear its a great addition (I dont have a stick so I havent exactly tested it)

I was refering to the automatic sportshift option that's now available on US models.

Anyone know if Canadian P5's will have the same option?

Hey! I knew what he was talking about and responded thus so.

And it definitely is coming here. I'm first on the list here to get it in.
We're going to give it a shot at changing it over.

Should be fun. Kind of experimental. The entire transmission doesn't need to be swapped out. Gear timings on the automatic portion are the same. We've got to check out the electronic portion of it yet though. We don't have enough info on it yet. It's still very new to everyone.

But we'll see how it goes.
