launch @ 2500 - loses traction @ 4500 - minimum wheel hop..
@ 3500 - major spin/ some wheel hop
@ 4500 - major spin/ major wheel hop
@ 5500 - major spin... hits 7k so fast it will make your head spin.. haha.. like 1/2 second... then.. since i wasnt moving, major bog when shifted to 2nd. (where is the freak'n fuel cut off? it reved to 7500+ )

the type of tires you're using also play a part.

have you upgraded your motor mounts? those *DID* help! - just more vibration...

Wheel Hop

I'm not sure what your suspension setup is, but stiffer springs tend to lessen the effects of wheel-hop. Regarding wheel spin while cornering, I had this same problem as well, an LSD would definitley be the best choice but a set of good sway bars did the trick for me.

Thumbs up Got the AWR Mount Set if interested...

I have the AWR mount set (Front & Rear) if anyone is interested. have both the manual bushings (95 durometer) as well as the 70 durometer for the automatic. PM me if interested. Paid $100. You want it for that, I'll pay for shipping.

Tein springs, ok. I don't know their spring rate off the top of my head compared to stock but I am going to assume they're stiffer, so you should be ok there. The LSD will transfer torque more evenly and shouldn't allow the inside tire to spin faster than the outside tire, essentially eliminating spin. Do you have sway bars? They worked for me and were much cheaper than an LSD. My inside tire was spinning because of too much body roll. The car would lean hard and take a lot of weight off the inside tire allowing it to spin. Sway bars significantly reduced roll and kept both of my tires firmly planted.

Thanks for the welcome. I just picked up my P5 about a month ago. I love it, great daily driver. Not fast enough to get me in trouble....(knock on wood).

Well then.....that changes everything. You should already have an LSD as well as sways. Then go with everyone else's advice. Stiffer motor mounts (which you've already done) and stickier tires. You must be pushing the car pretty hard, as you should be. You may need even stiffer springs and sways. Beyond that, a more agressive LSD.
