Please utilize the "search" feature before you post if you can.. because items like this have been covered several times...

Anyway.. the chip is junk.. it does nothing... its merely a resistor set... that is trying to fool the ECU....

Mods to the ECU don't come cheap, and the best one so far is in the vendor section.. Roddimus Prime is offering a GB (Group Buy) for those inerested...

That chip won't do ya jack... get an intake and exhaust or something else first.....

Vendor section has some good mods... and search you can find others that help too...

you cannot fool, modify, alter in any way the way the stock ecu's settings at full throttle...the only way to change this would be to replace the ecu with the AEM which is a plug & play type unit that is programmable or a a haltech or other standalone engine management system

what they've said. Once you hit WOT (wide open throttle) you're going to throw the car into closed loop (or is it open?).

Either way it has it's own pre-set map and it ignores everything else at that point. With a "chip" like the one you've listed you'll do a few things.....

1. Your gas bill will be horrible
2. Your catalytic convertors will stop up and blow out (will take some time)
3. ruin your driveability
etc etc etc.

If you'd really like something that is plug and play and is a tride and true power adder / driveability improver you should save up for the AEM ecu. There are no limits to what it can do.

Check my threads for more info.

Thanks guys.

Xplicit....I used one on my SHO when I ran nitrous and it does richen the fuel flow. I only did this when I was racing because I wanted the extra fuel....I knew I was going to need it. For everyone else it's a horrible waste.
