So much fake "Mazdaspeed" crud on E-Bay...

Hey, folks.
My stock P5 floormats are starting to wear through right where I rest my heel, so I decided to replace them. I thought that it would be best to get something OEM. Fortunately, there is a set of Mazdaspeed mats available, exactly the same size as the OEM mats. So, I get on to E-Bay, and type in "Mazdaspeed".

Instantly, there are all kinds of results for fake Mazdaspeed stuff. And, some of it is so bad. Neck pillows, tissue box covers, seat belt pads, lic. plate frames... there was even a set of fake Mazdaspeed mats with this really bizarre metal plate bolted on to it, right where I would want to rest my heel. Gawd... instead, I found my genuine Mazdaspeed mats from a genuine dealer that sells genuine Mazdas and Mazdaspeed stuff.

Beware of all the fake, two-bit made-in-China crap on E-Bay! Some of it really is hilarious, though. Those mats were priceless. And, as if a tissue box cover makes your car any faster or more stylish! Puh-leeze!

Now listen, juddz, how will you be able to retain the title of "Master of the Rice Racers" if you don't invest in a quality fake Mazdaspeed tissue box!

Don't disappoint us!

<~~~owner of the "mazdaspeed" seatbelt pads!!

I thought they were awesome. Still do. I'm smart enough to know what's ok to buy and what's not.

You mean my tissue box cover isn't authentic?! I just ordered my Mazdaspeed oil cap, Mazdaspeed ground wire kit, Mazdaspeed neck pillow, and Mazdaspeed license plate frame. I have an authentic Mazdaspeed axel-back exhaust, so I need to have Mazdaspeed everywhere I can think of. I haven't had much luck finding 2ft Mazdaspeed vinyl decals to go across my hood, fender, and door.

Post the link of the mats. . . I'll take 'em if you don't want them.

They took my door panels off and covered them with the leather right there in their shop. So, no "models" per se.

I would check to see if you have an interior shop (sometimes audio shops will do it too) that works with leather or vinyl and see what they would charge.

Warranty

Folks....this might be slightly irrelevant, but my floormats wore off too in a year....Got them replaced under warranty. Doesn't hurt to ask...

Now I'm just going to have to buy that fake Mazdaspeed can opener, just to keep the title.

Are you old enough to remember Star Wars cereal? It was like Lucky Charms without the marshmallows, if I recall. Somebody ought to take that recipe, create "Mazdaspeed" cereal, and I would eat it every damn day.
