Well i hate say it but i'm selling the p5. I've come to the realization that i'm never gonna get the power i'm looking for out of this car with out spending **** loads of cash to get it there. Sure you can put a turbo on it (I have) and get standalones and all that **** but why do that when you can just buy it that way already.

Best of luck with selling the Protege and finding a new powerhouse. Let us know what you decide to get as a replacement. Pictures and future plans are good, too.

better yet....go out and find you a decent 427 Cobra kit car....you will love it...it WILL have more power than you will know what to do with...and it will draw the kind of attention the P5 does too.

good luck.

Just steal cars. Like gone in 60 seconds (MOVIE). You can have a different car every hour LOL. Sorry to hear about selling the protege5. If you buy any car you still will spend money in fixing them up.

I talk to a guy at Hyperfest who owns a ferriari. He spent 1500 dollars on cams and only gain a little bit more power. Also brakes cost a **** load too. He said be happy with my car. LOL That was his 50 cents

glowck-wat were you running 0-60mph with your turbo? 7sec?

how about 1/4mile? 15sec?

just wondering if its worth it to get a wet kit.

Modern Ferrari engines breathe so well stock that it is next to impossible to get decent gains from anything other than raising compression...

Be glad you were smart enough to realize it when you did, and not after you dropped more coin...

If you want power, get a Ford Lightning truck.....380 hp ought to do the job
