yuck, that perrin intake looks horrible.

Phil, has that intake arrived yet? I've seen them before, they looked gimicky but I wanna see yours first hand so I can decide for myself. It's a good idea just not sure how well it works. Also, what 3 gauges are you getting? I'm boosted and I'm only using 2 extra gauges. I can help you shop around and get the best prices on those if you want,.

No, it has not...should be here by next wed, thurs the latest! I usually go CAI, but my Pops told me to shy away and get a reg...so I saw that one and I liked it since it was sorta different! I have all autometers right now...A/F gauge, Volts, and an old Oil pressure gauge...lol. so that's 3. But I'm going to get one that shows the air temp going through the intake...just for looks...but atleast it has SOME justification of actual use!!

I believe it runs to the intake inlet on the turbine. Well, as it's been said by Macdaddy and Matty, it's been on the market and you don't see 'em on ebay very often (which I suppose is a good thing..??), who cares if it's ugly....to me it looks different (and you can swap out the filter anyway)...and it serves it's purpose...lol. BTW, I should have all the stuff that I ordered by the time you guys are here...so...ummmm....install party on Saturday....and the auto hobby shop opens up at 08:30 and closes at 4:00pm.....so my guess is we'll be out there rather early....ish...lol.

*UPDATE* Got a killer surfboard at a yard sale on base for $5...yes...$5....just need repainting. Bargains are a bitch aren't they? And yes, I can surf...sort of.

Well the first of the trio came in yesterday.
The DIN gauge holder...turns out, my gauges are slightly smaller than what was needed, so I'll probably have to get another set...what BS....or I can fabricate a "sleeve" to make them stay snug....hmmmmmm....?
Springs & intake should be here by tomorrow/next day.
