Ok, I could swear I have seen an install guide PDF for one of the short shifters.

I don't remember which one but I do recall the kit comes with aluminum spacers for the heat shield and I recall seeing this in the guide. Is this the Kartboy?

Has anyone seen the install guide I am talking about?

 

don't need instuctions d00d, its self explanitory! just install the damn thing.. don't be afraid!

BTW to answer your question its a B&M shifter that has the spacers and the guide is on protege5online.com tech help page...

Well, I decided to order the Kartboy shifter and bushing combo from Tokigi Racing.

I will however be scouting around the hardware stores for spacers and bolts for the heatshield - I really think that is a slick solution.
