Question Seat covers and KN filters..HELP!

Hey gang,
This is my first post. I have a new P5. I got this car fully loaded with 5 speed and all the extras including chrome wheels, moonroof and deflector, cargo tray, 6 disk changer. I added a killer aftermarket alarm, paint protectant and dark tint, and it looks sweet with the silver paint. I want some seat covers. I have read all the posts and done some research, and I think I can find a pair of those Matrix types for around $50, however, my question is this: I found a company called seatcoversdirect.com that sells DENIM custom made to order seat covers with the front and back seats going for about $260 shipped. Anyone have any experience with denim covers or this company? I don't mind spending a little extra if the seat covers are high quality, good fit and will last. I have a new baby girl coming in a few months, and I need to protect those seats Also, are the K&N filters really worth the money? I read one guy who says they let too much dirt into your engine. Any help is very much appreciated!

Thanks,
J

i've just put a K&N in on saturday but i've not had a chance to bag the car and see if i can feel any difference yet.

i'm not anticipating any performance improvement. i *am* hoping for better mileage though.

On the K&N, Honda Civics usually pick up around ~1 hp with a drop in replacement. So I guess us Protege owners can expect about the same, it should have no impact on gas mileage. The good news is that they are only ~$29 including free shipping from http://www.martelbros.com, I ordered one for my Tribute last week ($42). Most premium paper filters are $7-15, so it will pay for itself in time. Some people have had bad MAFs from K&Ns, but most people contribute it to adding to much oil turing re-oiling.

K&N filters let about zero dirt into the engine. unless of course you don't put it on right. Considering that you NEVER have to replace the filter for the life of the car (only clean it once every few years), it is worth the price.
