ENVD P5

Does anyone nkow if the USA style of roof rack fits Canadian model P5 ??? The once made in US are soooo much better looking then what we have here and it would be nice to have this for winter. Also if anyone out there wants to sell theirs let me know.

Can we assume that you are talking about the FACTORY roofrack?

if so...YES it will fit your car....you will however have to do a bit of work to install it...which will include drilling a few holes THROUGH the roof channel....so this will require removal of your headliner....then you will have to of course obtain the complete roofrack, and channel pieces......

I believe its probably easier to remove one that to install one....I am not sure one way or the other if there are any additional pieces that are welded into the channel area for the cars with racks vs those with out. Probably the only way to find out for 100% sure is to have some one with a Canadian model to remove their filler pieces in the channels and compare them to one that has/had the racks......lot of work.

For the work, don't bother. Just buy a Canadian one. I did and it took me, no lie, 5 minutes to install them (and uninstall them, if that's a word). But hey, to each is own...

I guess taste is definitely a personal thing, but whatever. You should check out some of the other threads on roof racks, there are some good pictures on them of aftermarket racks. you may change your mind !!??
