Question Rear Bulbs

Hey Everyone ,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a rear turn signal bulb for my 2002 protege sedan. I have the reverse lights and the front turn signal bulbs already replaced with eurolite xenon blue, but I cannot find the rear turn signal bulbs.

Any suggestions??

Man. I just got some too and I forgot the #. The back turn signals are one filament. There is just one prong on the bottom of the bulb I remember that much. Maybe that might help you out some. Sorry bro.

I know I had them out, the biggest problem is that the locking pins for the socket are offset, unlike an 1157 that is directly across from each other.

Thanks anyway

Yeah I bought the APC Super Whites and it worked fine. It is a little tight. But it will work.

The housing is soft and so it make a small little groove which holds the bulb in. It will flash and work like normal.

Shave down one off the pins. Thats what I did and it sits in there tightly.

I did that with these LED turn signals I bought, now they flash quickly (as if the bulb was out) Anyone know why? or what to do?

Maybe its the buld itself, since none of your other light are out.

Usually if one bulb in the circuit goes out the remainng will flash quickly cause the flasher is setup to work with the resistance of two bulbs..

Thanks for all the info on the bulbs everyone..

Part number for rear signal bulb is PY21W
It is different from 115x series

LED bulbs: Replace both front and back one with LED bulbs will solve the quick-flash problems

Hey Inimical, same thing happened to me, albeit with different bulbs and a different location.

Try taking the bulbs out, turning them 180 degrees, and putting them back in.
