Readiness monitors not set???
I have a 99 Protege ES, and I recently took it to the DMV to get it inspected. The guy used the OBDII to check for emissions, and it turns out my car failed because the readiness monitors were not set.
The guy gave me pamphlet saying that it usually occurs when the battery has been disonnected recently or you have done maintenence recently. But I haven't done anything to the car in 6 months. It also says it usually sets after driving the car for a couple of days? Anyone have any idea how I get fix this?
